Throughout the year the band performs a Spring and Fall Concert at the Port Theatre, an open air (free) concert at Maffeo Sutton Park in July, a Charity Christmas Concert at the Beban Auditorium in December (admission by donation to the Salvation Army Kettle Drive), and we participate annually in the Nanaimo Remembrance Day Ceremonies.

Vancouver Island University (VIU) is always looking for tutors. It is a great way to give back to the community! Tutors will provide one-on-one support to students in all programs. You do not need to be a teacher to tutor!

VIU Dental Hygiene Care - the students are looking for patients. You will receive excellent and thorough dental hygiene care for $35 and your time. You will see your student for 4 - 6 appointments - depending on your dental situation. To schedule a screening appointment, call 250-740-6240. Screenings are done periodically throughout the year.
