Hello and welcome to Nanaimo!
Like all of us at Nanaimo Newcomers’ Club, I was once brand new to this beautiful city. It can feel overwhelming to imagine getting to know a new city, navigate all the services you will need and then think of meeting new friends and becoming a part of a community.
This is where Nanaimo Newcomers’ Club comes in.
We are a Women’s only club that offers activities and social events to help you meet new friends and become a part of this beautiful community of Nanaimo. We offer a wide variety of activities both indoor and outdoor ranging from hiking, pickleball, or golf, to games, book clubs, shared meals and outings with new friends. We look forward to new ideas for activities that you might be able to bring to the club.
Eligibility for membership is open to women who within the last three years, have moved to Nanaimo or who have experienced a recent life change (widowed or divorced).
We meet monthly for our Club Social on the 2nd Tuesday evening of the month from September to June. This is an opportunity to connect with other members, learn something new about your community and have some fun.

Once you become an NCC member, you will have access to the ‘Members Only’ section of our website where you will discover all available activities & events, who to connect with to sign-up for them and other pertinent club news. In addition, members have the option to join our private Facebook group “Nanaimo Newcomers' Club” where information is made available through regular updates.
